An event entitled "Rethinking Smart Services" was held on September 23, 2020 in Constance at the Council, where the digitization of services was examined from various angles in presentations by EnBW, Porsche, B. Braun, Georg Fischer and the HTWG Konstanz.
mindUp participated in this event together with the AI Lab Bodensee in a breakout session on the topic of artificial intelligence. "What possibilities does this technology offer for the development of smart services" was the most frequently asked question across the industries of the session participants. The lynchpin for the possibilities is always the available data: Is this data already collected in such a way that there is a chance to recognize relevant connections or should data enrichment take place in the first step? The concrete application of artificial intelligence methods is then very much dependent on the field of application and ranges from image recognition to speech recognition to forecasting systems. The possibilities were discussed for the fields of application of the audience from the fields of craftsmen, the financial sector, medical technology and were deepened in the following get-together.
